I have had this phone for just under 3 months. When opening the phone and looking at the screen, the colors on the pics came up with a rainbow tint to them and now it just opens up to a blue screen. I have taken out the battery numerous times, which did help for a short period of time, but now all I get is the blue screen. I can't see who is calling or read any text messages. Is there something I can do to fix this? Thanks!

I think this is because of your display problem. pls specify which model u r using. replace the display it will cost only few dollars.. 90% display and remaining 10% is some software problem.

How to fix my g1 rainbow screen, when i turn on my g1 phone it shows rainbow color screen

Hey!
If your screen is wrecked you might have to put your phone into your local phone repairer if you are still under warranty. But if you aren't covered you might have to buy a replacement screen and a how to install video should be on YouTube.
Hope this helps!

Color and tint looks different. There is a green hue to the screen, and adjusting the tint and color does not help.

There is a problem with the connectors desoldering in the tv. My mother in laws tv did this after 2 months. Should be warranty issue if less than year old

Picture settings

Colorimetre HCFR software
AVC HD 709 calibration disk
Spyder2 colorimeter (I know most prefer the Eye-One meters, but the Spyder2 was available from my job at no cost)

Here are the settings:

PS3 Blu-Ray player

Output Format (HDMI): Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr (important!!! NOT RGB output)
BD 1080p 24hz Output (HDMI): On (this TV can reproduce video at 48hz for accurate 2:2 pulldown)
Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr Super White (HDMI): On (not sure if this matters)

Take time to get used to the settings, you may think the screen looks dull at first. The truth is most people have way too much contrast on their TVs.
These settings will also work for Cable or Dish hookups, in which case you may change the Noise Reduction option to Medium to reduce signal noise.

Screen Green Tint

Turn down your color and see if the screen has a normal black & white screen. If it doesn't then the CRT is bad (picture tube). If it is black & White then you have a either lost your red or blue. That problem will be in your video driver circuit of which a service center can handle.
