Can't access Vodavi STS Starplus voicemail to program it

Do a system reset. The relay is holding the line. You can try cutting the power to the Control Box first.

The sts system does not work very well with digital communications. But did you try powering down the system and then restarting it? On some of the cases I have worked on the seem to help.

Sure. Restrictions are governed by the station Class of Service. COS6 is intercom only, or you can build tables and give a station some calling capabilities. There's also a traveling class of service and verified account codes to override your restrictions for users with a proper code.

You must go into CO line programming and put that station into the ring assignments for each outside line you want to ring at that station. It's Flash 40, page A, button 10.

I am a Vodavi tech. Go to station 100 and with handset on hook dial **3226 and tell me what it does.

To access the System Administrator Mailbox:
1. Dial into voice mail: From any phone on system dial 150
2. When the system answers, dial [*] + [#] followed by the System Administrator Mailbox number: (# 0 0 )
The system will announce: “Mailbox 15-00”, which is the System Administrator Mailbox number.
3. When requested, enter the System Administrator password. Default = [9]+[#]+[56].

How to program greetings
1. Access the System Administrator Mailbox as described above. The System Administrator Mailbox Menu plays.
2. Press [1] to access system greetings. The system will prompt you for the greeting number
3. Enter the desired greeting number.
For example:
1 = Default Day greeting
2 = Default Night greeting
3 = Default Temporary greeting
4. You will be prompted with the following three choices:
Press [1] to Review.
Press [2] to Record. You will be prompted to record the greeting
When you finish recording, press [#] to save the recording.
You can then
Press [1] to Review.
Press [*] + [*] + [*] to exit the system completely
