The model 32685 is not a correct model, it is most likely a serial number It can be found usually on the underside of the unit. Usually letters followed by numbers. However there is no adjustment unfortunately, It could be a manufacture defect possibly. Or maybe damaged during the original shipping. The only thing that could be done to correct this is by replacing the base or depending on the age of it, call Whirlpool warranty and see if they can cover it for you. Hope this helps

Thanks

Kitchen aid artisan mixer is loose and shaking

This could be the pivot rod between the head and the column being loose and out of place. Or it could be the hook activated by the lock lever not engaging properly. See the following Service Manual:

Carbon brush stuck in kitchen aid mixer

What model number is your machine? Try turning it on it's side and shake a little, take a very small screwdriver and grind away to crack the brush and shake it out. Otherwise it is a full tear down to take the brush holder out. Hope this helps if not get back to us for help

The part of my KitchenAid mixer that hold the motor shakes violently when I use it. What can we try at home to fix this problem before going to repair shop? Thank you, Gillian Lukes

Hi, W/D here.
Try this:
1. Lift the mixer head, tilting it back.
2. Locate the large silver screw under the head, where it connects to the base. It will have a slot in it, for a standard slotted screwdriver.
3. Tighten the screw up.

Best regards, --W/D--
Please feel free to rate this solution. Thanks.

I just bought a new kitchenaid mixer yesterday to bake cookies for a cousin's baby shower. I love to bake & usually do things by hand, but loved the neighbor's when I tried it. When I opened the box I...

Considering there was no manual, the unit may have been refurbished. If it was, the fact that is must, by law, have a clear indication on the box that it has been refurbished.

Kitchenaid makes a high quality product, so you might want to contact them directly. I'm sure they'll do the right thing.

Our kitchenAid has shaken since day one. Now it shakes itself off the counter as you use it. Wes

This is unusual in my experience for a kitchen aid, there must have been a problem, like you said, since the very beginning. If you can return it or exchange it that is my recommendation. Generally these mixers will last upwards of twenty years with no problems.

I have a kitchen aid stand mixer and the head jiggles when it is on and the entire unit "hops" and shakes at high speed. what's going on and how do i fix it?

This sounds like an issue of beater to bowl adjustment, which can come out of alignment naturally over time and with use of the machine.

If the flat beater is striking the bottom of your bowl, this may cause the locking mechanism to loosen and may cause the mixing head to "bounce" during use.

Your Use and Care Guide will cover the "beater to bowl adjustment," which you can do at home in a few minutes with a flathead screwdriver.

This may have a simple solution: This sounds like an issue of beater to bowl adjustment, which can come out of alignment naturally over time and with use of the machine.

Kitchenaid Classic -Mixer Head wobbles or shakes back and forth

Lay the mixer on its side and look up through the base. You willnotice a small set screw. This holds the pin tight. If the set screw gets loose the pin willl begin to move out and the head will wobble. Simply tighten the set screw. I just did this to my Kitchenaid mixer 10 minutes ago and it now works fine.
