Software problem, make sure you have the correct drivers for your operating system on the computer (you can download them from hp.com)- the .exe or .msi loads all the drivers plus their control program, probably some crapware too if you don't deselect in on installing.
your adf assy is out-of-alignmnt or feed'g rollers/sep-pad are filthy/bad. +possible that rollers in ppr-feed(lower unit) need cleaning also. good luck... [email protected]
Does it happen when you try to print from an application - like Microsoft Word or even Notepad? How about printing a test page from the properties page of the printer?
Sounds like either the printheads are clogged or there is no ink at all. Try running a few cleaning cycles. If you're sure you have ink, then try cleaning or replacing the printheads.
