If you have installed the program. Uninstall it.

Unplug the pen (or any devices associated with it) from the computer.

1. Insert Disc and intstall the program.

2. When prompted, insert the device into the computer as instructed. Follow all instructions.

3. Once installed, remove disc, restart computer.

4. The computer will detect the device as the computer is loading. Wait for all "start up" programs to load, then select the program and it should open and operate.

If it is plugged into a USB Port, and is not being detected, try using another port. Do not plug such utilities into a Port Adapter, as it most likely will not be detected.

It must be plugged directly into a USB Port installed on the computer (or laptop).

I ended up solving this by briefly removing the memory card and the battery from the camera, then reinserting them. This seemed to re-set everything and it then all worked well!

The USB ports all share a single power source. It may be that the Ipod being added overloads the connections.

You might want to consider purchasing a USB hub, but make sure you get one with a Power Adapter to boost the current to your devices.

Normal 0 Try disconnecting the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the CD or Downloaded software program. When the program asks you to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.

Try updating or reinstalling iTunes.

first off try a different usb port.
if doesn't work reboot pc and camcorder (remove battery) and plug in again.

digital camera + "dont have the orignal softwear that came with the camera." = another solution. Try an USB memory card reader if you can't find replace software or CD's from the camera's maker.
