DUE to irregulated power supply, your processor temperature can change abruptly,which can lead to the problem u have described. U can check the processor temp. through BIOS. 3.Finally check and re-install your window drivers.
An Amber blinking power button indicates a low voltage problem. This can be caused by a defective power supply or a defective motherboard. It sounds like you have isolated the problem to the motherboard since you removed everything but the board and power supply. You may be able to locate one by browsing the internet. you have a serious problem. probably the board as a result of lightning or electrical surge.
unplug and open box. look carefully for small burn spots any where on board and cards.
dis connect power supply from board.
diconnect your hard drive from power supply and board.
reconnect everything and plug in and try again.
sometimes it will reset itself and start up again if nothing serious.
Speakers are not built into the box itself. They may be in the monitor, or completely separate.
Did you get this directly from Dell, or from a third party. Dell would have shipped you speakers with it, or a monitor with speakers built-in. Purchased from a third-party you might just get the box itself.
If you have a monitor with speakers, you still have to connect the sound output from the box to the monitor.
