My printer Lexmark T634 is showing "remove paper standard bin"

Standard bin full

Hello,

This error is cause by either having your output paper bin full of paper or the flag sensor out of alignment where the paper comes out of the top. Look at the top f the printer where the paper comes out and you should see a black plastic sensor flag, it should move freely. If it is stuck remove the top cover above it and try to free it so it can move. Below is a picture of the printer with the output sensor flag circled.

I can not print from my lexmark t642 printer. I get this message " Remove paper from Standard paper bin." I do not have any paper in that area.

If there is no paper on paper bin and you are getting error to remove paper from the standard paper bin, please check for paper jam. it possible that paper stuck right on the path on the paper bin.

Message window shows "load mp

The printer tells you to insert a letter format paper in the mp (multi purpose) feeder (the manual tray).
If you press the GO key the print probably proceeds with print job (if has the paper loaded in mp feeder)

Lexmark t630 error says remove paper standard bin. Never knew anything about standard bin -- can't get it to print, and yes, there is a connection to the computer

The Remove Paper Standard Bin error can be possibly caused by the exit flag that is out of position, stuck or broken. Follow troubleshooting steps found at http://bit.ly/dhOTEo. if your getting a standard bin error this is caused by the flag on the top of the printer where the paper comes out or the sensor that it triggers. look to the far left where the paper comes out you'll see the flag make sure it moves freely if it does replace the sensor

What your printer is telling you is that it thinks or knows that the top exit tray for the paper is full. This is the tray that is moulded into the top of the printer.

This caused by two things. It is actually full or the Bin Full Actuator is out of position and forcing the error condition.

Look at the standard bin. Over to the top at the top left corner there should be finger (almost the same as paper clip) hanging down. If it is not there, then it is more then likely that the finger is jammed up.
