With a glass cutter, you could cut the glass to the correct size and using some angle aluminium strip and some silicone, then seal between the unit housing and glass. Hope this helps

How do you unstack a Bosch Axxis WTA dryer from a Bosch Axxis WFL 2050 washer?

You do not state the type of stacking kit installed on your Bosch washer. The installation instructions of one of the stacking kits is found at the site Assemby Instructions Bosch Axxis Stacking Kit /WTZ11310.pdf . First remove the front concealment strip to expose the front of the mounting kit. Gently pry with a wooden tool to prevent damage. Once the it is exposed, there are two clip inserts in front of the dryer feet that must be removed. Once these are removed, you pull or slide the dryer forward to release them from the stacking kit and simply lift the dryer off of the stacking kit and the washer. The stacking kit itself is attached to the washing machine with four screws that must be removed to separate the kit from the washer top. And with that, your dryer and washer are separated!

But after separation there are two additional problems that may be bothersome to you. The first is that you now have mounting holes in the top of the washer that are exposed and the second is that the feet on your dryer may need to be replaced as parts of the feet may have been tossed during installation of the stacking kit and may need to be replaced.

The assembly instructions above show only the basic stacking kit. Some kits included a slide that pulls out to allow for a handy tray but the installation or disassembly is nearly the same.

Remove

Original equipment rear auto glass is not designed to have the "heating element" removed...these lines are imbedded into the glass during production. If your current rear defogger is not working, you have a few options. You can replace the entire rear glass (very costly), you can add a new aftermarket defogger strip and connect to original equipment wiring...(maybe to many lines for your viewing...or you can add a rear blower motor vent to the rear shelf...(most effective, aftermarket kits are vailable, probably your best choice to address a need for a rear window defogger. Hope this helps.

I need to reinstall Windows XP Professional, i.e. a so-called clean installation, on my HPCompaq dx2300 Microtower. When I insert the Operating System CD, Windows XP Professional, I get the following...

Hi,

You can get this from the computer manufacturer. It is called a Recovery Disc as well. If the computer is no longer under warranty there will be a charge for it, but not as much as purchasing a windows installer disc from microsoft. I believe you will pay for the shipping, the disc, and the tax which would cost you $40 at most.

I'm having some trouble with a dell poweredge 2650 I bought off eBay.

You are not too clear, however I'll take a guess ..

1) Booting from CD ... older CD drives fitted to PE26xx range do not recognize Windows 2003 bootable install CD's .. the TS-L462C (a laptop drive) should be compatible with the PE 2650 (I know it works in my 2600)

2) Installing the Operating System onto the PERC SCSI Array drives .. a total pain .. with older OS (Windows 2000) you can use the 4 x floppy disk set to install and hit (F6 ? as I recall) to tell it to 'load a 3rd party driver' ... get the PERC drivers from the Dell site.

Alternative = toss the useless Tape Drive and install a set of SATA drives in the same space (a 3 drive Hot Swap caddy eclosure will fit = Icy Box or StarTech) .. you will need a PCI RAID card (such as Si3124) since the M'Bd has nothing but a combined floppy/TapeDrive IDE interfafce.

3) Finally, be aware that this is a SERVER level box .. spare parts & Dell 'official' upgrades are going to cost you an arm & a leg = and don't even ask what the special 'ECC parity' Memory sticks cost :-)

Scosche - Aftermarket In-Dash Installation Kit questions

The radio should have come with its own wiring harness as well. The install kit will have a wiring harness that connects to the factory harness the original radio is connected to. You need the Kenwood harness and match the colors of the harness to the colors on the install kit harness. They should be crimped to make sure you have a solid connection and do not let any loose wires hang out anywhere. Then it is a good idea to use electrical tape and insulate each wire, then tape them all together for easier installation.

If you do not understand how to do this, you really should take it to someplace that installs radios, they can do it quickly and easily. No worries then about if you have made any mistakes. I have seen many a radio in my shop needing repair from people who thought it was easy to install a radio, but didn't really know how to do it. One mistake can end up costing more than buying a new radio.

let me know if you need any more help.
