Line, faults & possible causes to LCD screen are given with illustrations. You can get an idea about the fault to an extent.

Either your Y sustain board went out or your upper and lower Y buffer boards went out. Worst case scenario is your panel went out. But you won't know without replacing the other boards first.

Take it to an electronics reapir shop and ask to have the connection re-soldered.

Could be a blown fuse in the main board (not a normal looking fuse) or a board failure. Definitely a job for your dealer.

there is a socket in your laptop in a D shape with 15 pin. Connect a PC monitor in that terminal and turn on your laptop if you can see you desktop on that monitor then your video card isn't working or your lcd screen isn´t working anymore.

If you can get into the menu and find "reset" you could return the camera to factory settings.

1. First make sure that your iPod’s hold button isn’t on. This is the little switch at the top left corner of the iPod video that you can move to “lock” the iPod’s buttons. i recommend Windows XP

i turned the blacl level and contrast all the way black.now i cant pull up menu to set regular settings. what do i do?
