Unit does not cycle

A few days ago unit stuck mid-cycle. It's not cycled since. Manually turning dial causes correct response from unit but dial will not turn on it's own. Is there a reset or is this something else?

You should check the heating element. if the water is not hot enough, the timer will not advance. crack open the door mid-cycle. let the water stop flying around. then open it all the way up. if you don't get a big ball of steam, you have an indication that your heating element may not be working properly. this is not too hard to check the resistance with a multimeter and then replace, if necessary. good luck

My Kenmore washer drains after the rinse cycle but won't spin at the end of it's cycle. If I manually set it to the spin cycle, it spins just fine. Desperate!!! The lid switch was just replaced about

Possible there is problem with the timer controller unit. It seems that the stepper motor is not moving to the next cycle until you manually move it to the spin. You can use some contact cleaners on the switch and also carefully try to see if the timer moves within , replacement is a costly issue and must be debated

Hoover six 1100 stops at certain points during the cycle until i turn the dial to skip to next part of cycle?

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
If the washer stops mid cycle the timer might be defective. This part is often misdiagnosed, check other components before replacing this timer.
f the washer stops mid-cycle the main control board might be defective. This is not common. Check other causes first such as the lid or door switch and other components.
If the washer stops mid cycle the water inlet valve cold water side may have failed. Most washers have a cold water rinse and so if they can't fill with cold water they just sit indefinitely waiting for the cold water to enter. If there is cold water to the water inlet valve and the cold water works in other parts of the cycle - or to make warm water - the valve is not the problem.
If the washer stops mid cycle the door lock assembly should be checked. The door lock can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any switches on the door lock with an Ohm meter. The switches should have continuity according to their design.
If the washer stops mid cycle the lid switch assembly might be defective. This is a very common problem. The lid switch assembly can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any electrical switches with an Ohm meter for continuity. The switches should have continuity according to their design.

Blanco bfdwc61ss dishwasher wont finish washing in any cycle...its doesnt stop, just keeps going and going...it went all night without stopping and the dial didnt move...can you advise what to do??

please see the causes and fix it: God bless you
Float Switch

The float switch may be hung up and this can cause the dishwasher to be stuck in a cycle. Check the tutorial and the video for checking this part.

Timer / Control

If your dishwasher gets stuck in a cycle first try shutting off the breaker for at least 5 minutes if this does not correct the problem you will need to replace the timer / electronic control.

Not heating/timer knob not turning . the dryer works but is not heating and i noticed that the knob is not turning therefore it does not shut off just keeps running.

HI. The timer device is responsible for initiating the heating cycle. If the dial plate is unable to advance, the heating circuit will not operate correctly, thus, preventing proper heating. Another indication of timer mechanism failure will be an un going cycle. You have stated that the unit Will continue to run, without stopping. This is caused by the defective timer device.

In most cases, the actual timer motor will Fail. This motor is , essentially, responsible for the forward motion of the dial plate.

I recommend to replace this damaged timer device, asap.

Asko w6221 front load washer stops after wash cycle

Do all of your cycles work when you turn them manually? If one cycle does not work when you turn the dial on it then it will be your timer (The dial assembly $100-up) If all your cycles work manually, then it could be your timer motor which is attached to your timer assembly. If you turn the dial pass the wash, on to the rinse, does the dial automaticly move (when finishng the rinse cycle)to the spin cycle? If so then your timer motor is ok. The only wires close to the bottom are the motor, but these should be high enough out of the way.
