Printer appears to want to print out an infinite number of pages of gibberish from a document sent to it. Obviously, the document info somehow, somewhere screwed up. I don't need to waste an unknown number...

The document is probably not screwed up this happens usually when the computer is using the wrong printer driver. if the pdf looks ok on the screen try reinstalling the printer driver and resend the document. to clear the job from the printer just turn off the printer and clear the print que from the computer.

HOW DO I copy a file on my document to my flash drive

There are a couple of ways to the this.

1. you can right click on the file and select copy then select your flash drive and right click inside the folder you want to place it and select paste.

2. Open your flash drive and your my documents folder and click & hold the file you wish to copy and (while left click and holding) drag the file to your flash drive

3. If you have the file open you can save as and select your flash drive as the location to save it.

This is my first flash drive. How do I record to it? How do I play back from it?

Flash drives are used like floppy discs. Take off the cover, plug in the drive to a USB port and wait for the computer to acknowledge it. Usually it will get a drive letter assignment of E: unless you have multiple optical drives or a card reader that may have that drive letter in use. Transfer files by copying them in the file explorer. I like to have two windows open (one with the folder the file is starting in and the other the window for the contents of the flash drive).

Alternatively, open the file in the appropriate program and (for most OS versions) File > Save As and browse to the flash drive. Check the file name and click OK.

To use a file on any computer, open the file explorer and browse to the flash drive. Double click on the file and the associated program (or another that handles that file type) will open if it is on that computer. Then you can edit the file. If you are using a different computer, when you return to your main computer. Transfer the file back to the Documents (My Documents) or other folder in the File Explorer.

Make sure the USB port is active (try another if the flash drive doesn't work). Some USB ports can be disabled for power savings or security. On Windows the first is an Advanced Setting from the screen saver. The second is found in the device manager (Control Panel > System and Security > System for Win7).

I hope this helps.

How to add documents on sandisk 4gb flash drive

I would assume you want to save documents to the flash drive, if this is correct, plug the flash drive to a USB port on the computer and once it is detected in My Computer (or you may get a prompt for it), just open its folder and you can copy/save files from your computer to the flash drive. NOTE: you may need to format the flash drive first using your computer if it is the first time you'll be using it.

I just purchased an 8GB USB 2.0 flash drive from SanDisk Cruzer. I plugged it in, it recognized it then opened to documents what do i do next?

You use it like a floppy disk, you can copy files to and from your computer to the flash drive, then take the flash drive out and the put into another computer to share, ie. to download and copy files to from other computers such as a friend's computer. The files can be anything, music, photos etc.

2gb usb 2.0 flash drive

I hope someone has helped you by now! After you plug your flash drive into your computer USB 2 port, your flash drive should appear in "my computer" as a drive. You can rename that drive by clicking once on the drive and then right clicking your mouse and selecting "rename" and name it Your USB or something that reminds you its the USB Drive.

Whether you rename it or not, all you have to do once your computer has recognized the USB drive is to open the folder where your documents are kept and either "move" or "copy" them to the USB drive. Remember that "moving" the files will remove them from your computer and transfer them to the USB drive. Copying the files will leave a copy on your computer as it copies the file to your USB drive. You can also right click the file with your mouse and move the pointer over "Send To" and choose your USB drive from the list and it will Copy the file to your USB drive.
