How to install toshiba satellite A105 S4334 memory

The memory is normally located underneath the laptop
normally a oblong cover with 2 screws
just undo the screws and remove the plastic plate

A RAM expansion slot is located on the bottom of the laptop behind a small panel. Remove the panel to get access to the RAM slot/s. It may have two RAM slots, if it has only one the the 1st RAM slot will most likely be located under the keyboard.
If the laptop has two RAM slots on the bottom of the laptop and the 2nd one is empty then you can add anothe RAM module. Try to get the same make and model as the original to double your RAM..
If both slots are occupied then you need to replace the existing RAM with larger capacity RAM modules.

How much RAM is installed in your laptop? Most laptops can take up to 2GB which is enough for most any games. Find your Owners Manual (on your hard drive) to find directions to find the memory's location. I have a Toshiba Satellite A105 and the memory is behind a panel hedld in place by a Philips screw labeled "4" in a circle, if that is any help.

Go to toshiba's website, then look up your model " Satellite A105-S4334 " > Look for drivers/download section > Look for sound card driver > Install and restart your laptop and you should be working.

I give you some possibilities.

1. Could be dirty contact for your memory card, try to take out the battery and no power supply attached and shut it down completely, then clean the memory edge connector with a clean soft eraser. And be sure to drain your hands with static. Then reseat it back into its place. Or the memory card or actually faulty using an spare ram to check it.

2. This can be also monitor problem, try using secondary monitor and run it to dual monitor.

3. There's some component giving up in your system, usually hard drive or cdrom. This cause hanging and shut off of your unit also. Try disenganging one at a time to find the fault. And boot using usb flash drive if you can.

I take it that you already have the correct RAM you need. Wiith that, power off your notebook, unplug it, turn it over and your will see the larg cover closer to the right of the notebook. Unscrew the screw to release the memory cover and place it to the side. Be carefull with static when handling your memory card, install the card into any open slot in your notebook. (The memory card will go in the slot at a 40 degree angle and then 'snap' down into place. Replace the memory cover (the large piece you took off at the begininig.) power up you notebook and the new memory should be registered and ready for use. Good Luck.
