Lithium batteries carry far more power and are much lighter than lead acid batteries. You would also have to replace the charger as the charging technology is also different.

Having said that, the link makes me believe that they use AGM lead acid batteries as standard. Someone may have upgraded to Lithium?

Best way is boiling water straight from the jug, You can make up a bi carb & water solution to nutralise acid on battry. If to dirty for this the terminals should be removed from the posts & cleaned properly (sand paper or a battry post / terminal cleaner is even better but make sure you have your radio code if you have coded radio. Refit terminals & spray with battry terminal treatment spray.

Sometimes that highly corrosive battery acid gets on the boards and trashes them. I have lost remotes like that and now remove the batteries on those units I do not use often - remotes are expensive!

And if it happens to an expensive piece of equipment, that really bites.

You definitely need new batteries. There are 2 size U-1 batteries in the chair that will last between 1.5 and 2 years. Get the deep cycle sealed gel lead acid batteries, preferably AGM. Hope this helps.

First make sure the batteries are in correctly, if the batteries were corroded clean any acid from contacts. If acid leaked from the batteries it may have eaten into the remotes cicuit board. If all that is ok then you could turn on the cable box and with the menu button on the TV do an auto-program and it should lock in on channel two because it should be the only signal it picks up. If you can take your remote to a repair shop they my be able to test or fix it.

Hi, seems that your alternator diodes are faulty.
You can check this by disconnecting the radio & switching off all interior lights etc.
Then remove one battery lead.
Then get an amp meter and connect it between the battery & the removed lead.
If you get a reading the alternator is drawing current , hence faulty diodes.
The alternator will still charge the battery when the engine is going but then discharges when stopped.
Also check your batteries with a hydrometer by checking the battery acid in each cell as you could have a dodgey cell in them.

ok did u have old batteries in the carera the first time? if u did i can only think that one of the batteries haved had a leak and u have battry acid in it. thats all i can think of but if this isent the problem contact your service provider and/or samsung and ask them what you can do to fix this
