there is problem with your hard disk. your hard disk wire may be loose. try to remove and refix all sata wires of your hard disk. "operating system not found" message may be coming because you may have not installed any os (windows, linux or mac) in your notebook. try to install operating to system to fix this. there may also be proble with your hard disk, your hard disk may be dead. if your notebook is showing message "operating system not found" without any reason then you may have put your notebook in high magnetic field area. due to high magnetic field, sometimes hard disk's are formatted automatically.
Hi If your laptop says Operating System not found then you need to install the operating system. It is easily available in any Local Computer Shop. Just insert the CD in the laptop and try to start the computer it might ask some detail just follow the instruction on the screen and it will automatically install the Operating System. The Common Examples are Windows Xp, Vista, and Win 7. You can use anyone as you want. But I will suggest to use windows xp.

sounds like your unit did not detect the hard drive/hard disk.. try to enter on BIOS setup and check your hard drive or else you have a corrupted system.
" operating system not found "....this indicates that the HARD DSK is having issues.Re-installing the operating system may fix this issue.But a HDD replacement is the right sollution
os not found usually means that your hd is faulty.
try remove hd and reseat it.
if no joy have os disk(windows) in cd drive start pc and boot from disk.
select install windows...system checks drive and informs of existing os..want to continue...install windows...next screen shows partitions.choose to delete partition then create new then format and install.
if when u try to boot from disk system say no hd found then hd is damaged.
