The tv screem on my ilo 32

Excuse my English too. It sounds that the firmware to this TV has been corrupted by any way. A firmware update might be necessary. There is booting problem. If you wish to know more abut firmware update, check the site linked below. It has details to firmware update procedure to many brand TVs with illustrations. Beware, you must be sound in electronics to follow. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up previous posts there, either by its left side bar, or view it in Timslide option. The site is in English language, but have translation option, which can be pulled out from the right side of the display window.

If you are connected to a HD cable or satellite box, you have to turn off the caption feature there. If not you have to go into the setup menu and look for CC and or TEXT and turn it off.

look for the TV/VIDEO button, it should work, check the difforent video options by clicking it

I need to hook up remote for Direct TV and Ilo is not listed as a choice what do I use?

I have the same problem with mine. Screen was gray but I had sound. Nothing I tried worked. I bought a new TV and the Ilo is sitting in the junk room till I find a solution or get the ambition to take it to a shop to get checked out.

my 42" ilo plasma started going black on the outside to middle, now its totally black and no sound the power indicated lites for a min then the tv shuts off

If you're using a cable box , connect box to tv using component cable .

The Sony RMV210 remote will work on the 32inch Ilo and other HD tv's, that what makes it cost so much, but it will work

Yes the Emerson code 198 worked for my jumbo universal remote made my Innovage. I also have the ILO 32' TV and could not find the code but this one worked!!! Hope it helps
