Depending on the kind of grinding noise your hearing, it could be a number of things.If your dryer has been doing this for quite a while it could be that the front and/or rear felt have become worn or broken. if these are gone the drum will make contact with the inner rim of the door and the back portion of the dryer part number for both front and back tumbler seals is 33001807. If however the noise you are hearing has just recently and suddenly happened, this could indicate that possibly something has got caught inside the these same felts or seals. If you want to take a look insaide your dryer. FIRST UNPLUG IT. then with the door removed there should be two screws at the bottom of your unit. once removed you can now remove the "U" shaped bracket around the base and door. now you will be able to see inside. if you need to lift the top there are two screws at the left and right sides that hol brackets to the top. remove these and you now have access to the whole dryers drum, heater etc. Hope this helps
