My Razr is frozen help

I have a Motorola Razr phone and for some reason it started changing its volume setting by itself. When I open the phone the volume level is the only thing that will display. I have tried taking the battery out and the smart chip out and letting it sit for a while. I am also unable to receive or dial calls. Any help that you can give me would be wonderful.

Thanks in advance

Amanda

When your phone is open and the phone volume level is the only thing that will display'
your phone flex has a problem'
try to check the volume control' try to push it up and down'
if the volume keys is ok. the inside flex is the problem, if you have a dismantle procedure of your phone you can try to clean the volume control,
but if is not' must better to bring the own provider' or to a cellular clinic...

Droid razr is windows is frozen up?

Hi,

You can try to reboot the device by pressing and holding the power key + volume down key for 10 seconds.

If it does not work, please try doing this
Clear Cache Partition on my device.

Motorola v3i volume

If you have some experience with soft modding phones or are willing to learn, i believe P2ktools does this and more. There are guides around on the internet on its use.

The volume change options are under tools ->Change volume. Then click get to see your current settings and adjust accordingly. Its best these settings are kept below 4, except system tone. Once these are set simply click set to apply it.

Here's a link to p2ktools http://www.e398mod.com/content/view/165/28/
Make sure you get the english version :p (has ENG after it)

This site covers it i beleive after a quick google. Should apply to the v3i as well.

Ring volume changing on its own.

Sounds to me like you have a stuck key somewhere on your phone. Was it dropped? Or maybe you hit it too hard. Look closely at the buttons on the side of the screen . you know, the ones that normally change your volume when it's open. One of those is malfunctioning in the down or closed position.
