My ps3 will not connect to my wireless internet

i have a novatel XU870 data card (mobile wireless broadband) in my notebook. i also have a PS3 that i want to connect. how do i do it? i have an ethernet cable but it doesn't seem to do anything? Same problem as the other guy. All the settings match my computer but i keep getting some random DNS error. Same as the one that that other guy posted, and sony tech support sucks. Can anyone help?

PROBLEM: I have a wireless linksys router and i have already installed it but for some reason my ps3 is having a problem with the internet connection. My computer internet is working as you can see im online right now. But my ps3 says my dnas is not working. I have tried just about every thing i can think of but it's still not working.

I fixed my dns problem go to linksys hotline the number is 18003267114

ask for grace her number is 10894 she can help you work it out it's confusing but if you take some time you can fix it

I have a Ps3 and a wireless router. All was working well with the internet, downloads etc. Yesterday the Cable company came to rewire my connection due to poor signal. Now my computer, wii, DS all work great but my PS3 connection will not work anymore. I have checked my router and internet connections and everything else is connecting. I think I may need to reconfigure my network settings but when I try to, the PS3 freezes and I cannot access this part of the toolbox. HELP! I have a Ps3 and a wireless router.
