I would try a different battery. Also, does the port wiggle a bit when you plug the charger in? If so then the phone is physical damage and will need to be repaired (for a cost) by LG.

my name is Larry and i have the exact same phone. If ur lg isnt turning on and wont charge it could be couple things . either the charging port on ur phone needs replaced and or ur charger has gone bad i would take it to a cell phone repair shop close to you.
Sometimes a phone won't turn on until you have enough charge in the battery to enable this. What I mean is if the battery is so flat, it might take ten or so minutes to start to so a charging state.
If the cell phone battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and graduallythe charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The batteryshows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops offto zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptablecharge level then the battery needs to be replaced.
This isn't a "fix" per se, but it seems the best route is to use an alternative keyboard. Swype
is pre-installed on the phone, so you can switch to that without
installing anything new. Alternatively, you can try other players such
as SwiftKey, A.I.type, and TouchPal. Otherwise, LG is aware of the issue and working on a fix.
Phone won't charge
The potential fix is to enable USB Debugging. To do so, head to Settings -> Applications -> Development -> make sure USB Debugging is checked.
Alternatively,
if it won't charge normally (while powered on), it should charge while
powered off. Your best bet is probably to power it off and let it charge
while you sleep.
For some people, it seems that the phone actually is charging, it just doesn't show it.
