Right speaker is not working

Try using a head/earphone. If it's ok, the speaker of your laptop is defective. If the head/earphone has no sound from the right side, then audio card is defective.

No sound/audio while playing tv.

Hello

If there is no audio output from your tv, either your TVs speaker or its audio output IC has damaged. You just check it with an earphone/headphone, if there is an earphone or headphone socket in front panel of your TV. If there is sound from the headphone/earphone, and not from the speaker, means the speaker has damaged. You have to replace it with same type and number. Just check your set's audio out socket, if any provided, connet it to any external audio sourse, like amplifier or so, and check whether there is sound output from it. If not, your Tv/combos' sound processing IC inside has some trouble.
most common fault is related to sound output IC or speaker itself. If speaker is found OK, go to the sound output section. This section can be easly located as speaker wire goes to that section, and follow it. Before replacing the IC, check its leads for any loose or bad soldering. i advice you to resolder all the terminals of that IC, by applying a little more solder, without making any solder bridge loose contacts between them. If this does not helps, replace the IC with an identical type and number. OK.

Dear Sir, In my aiwa tv there is no audio sound (,two speakers ) how can i rectify the problem, Pls any one help me to sort out the issue. Rgds, Jayaprakash.

Hello
You just check whether its speaker has damaged or not. You can check it easly. Just place your ear very near to the speaker side of your TV, and switch on the TV with its panel on-off switch, not by remote hanset. If you hear a "thumb" sound from that side of the speaker, you can make sure that the speaker is OK, and the fault is inside the circuit board of Tv.
If there is no "thumb" sound, open the TV and check the speakers for continuity. You can check the speaker with a troch cell, by touching its poles to the leads of the speaker, with attaching a pice of wire to the cell. If it is found faulty, replace them with an identical type and resistance, Its impedence [resistance] will be marked on its magnet. Choose an exact one.
If speakers are found Ok, and still there is no sound, if your TV is equipped with an earphone socket in front panel, push in an earphone pin into it, and check whether there is sound output from it or not. If there is sound output from it, and you can't get it through speakers, the earphone socket is faulty, and replace it.
if there is no sound from the earphone socket also, just goto the sound output section of the circuitboard of your TV. You can locate that section by following the speaker wire. Look for any loose soderings first. I advice you to resolder all the soldering points of sound output Ic, before replacing it. After resoldering, still there is no sound, check the input supply voltage of that Ic. If it is not there, check for the reason. if it is there and still no sound, sound output Ic is faulty, and replace it with same type and number.

No sound

Hello

First you check the speaker of your Daewoo Tv. To check the whether the speaker is good or damaged, place your year very close to the speaker side of your TV, and switch the TV by its front panel power switch, not by the remote control. If you can hear a "Thumb" sound from the speaker, as the TV is switched on, the speaker is good and you have to to further. If not speaker has got damaged and have to be replaced.
If your TV is provided with an earphone or headphone socket at its fron panel, insert a earphone or headphone pin into it and listen whether there is sound coming from it or not. If ther comes the sound, it doesnot comes to the speaker, means that the headphone or earphone socket is faulty. Replacing it will solve the problem.
If there is AV OUT from your TV, connect it to an amplifier or so to get the sound. If there is sound and no output from speaker, means the Audio Output IC inside your TV is faulty.
Just locate the audio output Ic, and replace it with same type and number. Audio Output IC can be easly located ans speaker wire goes to that section, and follow the speaker wire. locate it. If you need any more assistance, feel free to contact me through Fixya. OK.

No sound

Hello
If picture is OK and there is no sound output from your tv, means either its speaker or the Sound output Ic is not working. The case of speaker fault can be easly detected without opening the TV. You just place your ear very near to the speaker side and switch on the TV by AC mains [not with remote control]. You may hear a "thumb" SOUND OR A "HUM" sound from it. If any one is there the internal speaker is working fine. The fault lies in audio output Ic stage. If there is no sound said above, speaker can be suspected. Befor confirming that the speaker is faulty, if your TV has an earphone or headphone jack in front, insert the earphone or headphone socket into it, and check whether there is any sound heard from it. If there is sound from headphone, means that the headphone socket is faulty, it does not bypass the sound to the speaker. When head phone is connected, the connection to the speaker will automatically cut of. When it is pulled out from the socket, the speaker connection will resume. If the changeover switch inside the earphone socket also show this kind of trouble. If the speaker inside is found faulty, unscrew it out of place after opening the TV, go for a same type and number, impedence and shape.
If there comes the above said "HUM" sound from the speaker, surely the Sound Output Ic is faulty. Replacing it will solve the probelm. Before replacing it, check it soldering points for any loose contact. It is best to resolder all suspected point is sound section before replacing the ic.
Note: In modern TVs there will be any trace of sound, without a video signal. Without video, sound is muted. ok.

I lost the sound

FIRST OF ALL CHECK THE SOUND SYMBOL OPTION ON THE SYSTEM TRAY IF IT IS IN MUTE AND ALSO RIGHT CLICK ON THE SOUND SYMBOL TO GO TO THE MIXER TO CHECK IF ANY MUTE OPTION IS CHECKED IF EVERY THING IS OK,THEN THERE MIGHT BE A PROBLEM WITH THE SPEAKERS TO CHECK THAT INSERT A EARPHONE AND TRY TO PLAY A SONG AND SEE IF YOU CAN HEAR IT IF YES AND WITH THE EXTERNAL SPEAKERS WITHOUT THE EARPHONE IS NOT WORKING THEN THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE SPEAKERS.
MOST OF ALL THE SPEAKERS COULD BE IN MUTE.
