Blue speckles down left side and top edge after on for some time. - Seems to go away after pulling power for few mins and turning back on. Blue blur seems to be best seen when screen is showing a lighter color in that area.

    Any help?

I also have the same prob. I have the 50in plasma HD version and it was fine for a few months. But now I have vertical blue/green lines on the right side of my tv. It started with just a few lines that would sometimes appear. Then it went from that to several now it is it about a foot wide of blue/green lines. Anyone have any suggestions?

The lines are most likely the panel which isnt cheap
the blue speckles are just a voltage adj. on the y sistain if you feel confident enough you could try this yourself(though expensive equipment is usually required i do without). what you would have to do is take off the back panel if you have a stand put it back on that. easier to work on. then plug it. BE CAREFUL not to touch anything inside!!! from the back you will see a board on the left side on that board will be a small board attached vertically it will have a gray screw attached(very small). with the tv on you adj. the screw until the blue goes away(a little does alot).

I had the same prob...called philips and they sent out a repair man. thought he would have to replace the whole board.. end up and had to adjust a few readings. he removed the back so the whole panel was exposed. think there is four panels each is has a defalt reading which is labled in the back once panels are exposed and he had to adjust each one. each one is like a small dial that was adjusted with small screw driver. ...ever since havent had a prob...tell this to the repair man and hopefully they will be able to adjust. keep watching him so you learn to do yourself if this happens again.

Just had the tech leave. Fix was to adjust some voltages that have drifted up about 8 volts. - you can call them at 610-582-5351.

I found that putting a fan behind my tv to cool it down makes the blue lines go away. Hopefully this works for somebody else.

I have a samsung 42 plasma tv with a blue line down left side what is the cause and can it be fixed?

It sounds like a lower right buffer board issue. I recommend having a professional in your area look at it. You are dealing in a very delicate area of a plasma set. If you were to damage the ribbon cable that goes directly to the display, you'll end up buying a new set.

Blue bleed through

Try resetting the television by turning it off and unplugging it for about 30 seconds. Video Game Systems have been known to cause pixel damage on Plasmas.

Blue glow

I have the same issue with my phillips tv. There is a blue ghosting/pixel issue on the left side. It's still under bestbuy's warranty so I am going to call it in for service. It's more visible with hdmi and high resolution inputs. It does take a while to happen. Looks to be a bad screen possibly.
