First make sure you connections are still good. The fall may have done damage to the coil knocking it out of the cone. If so you can put it back in with black rubber cement.
Is there somthing hitting the gas pedal, like the floor mat? Or maybe something under the dash came loose and is getting caught under the brake pedal and pushing on the gas. Put the shifter in neutral if you get into a situation where going to hit something or someone. The engine has a rev limiter, to prevent it from over reving.

most likely when you dropped it on the concrete floor the compact of it hitting the floor has either jarred something on the inside of it and has caused it to not work properly or find the papers to the machine and restart the directions for it. i hope that something i have said may work, good luck!
the sizzling noise is water hitting the defrost elememt and this is normal - shows the defrost system is working.
if water comes on the floor of the freezer, this may be the drain for the defrost water is blocked. remove the freexer back panel and the drain is in the tray where the defrost water is caught. if it is blocked - usually with ice - clear it with hot water and make sure the water drains freely. takes some patience and maybe several attempts
