When moving the tv screen to the vertical viewing position the picture becomes upside down. Moving back to the closed position, half way the pictire rights it self.

• Felix try ,system menu, look if color system program is ntsc or pal,or what ever suitable in your area, if not may some thing lost contact at the vertical amplifier, rolling picture is occured..

does the vertical lines appear like solid vertical bard infront of the pictire??

The screen voltage to the picture tube is more than normal. Adjust it by the help of screen pot-meter integrated with Line Output Transformer. Visit the site named 'Electro-help' for more details. Check this link and select the site named above. View it in 'Flip card' option, which can be selected from the drop down box menu at the left top corner or the display window. It will make search easy.

The half picture is a verticale problem. This is difficult to repair. Send to a repair shop.

The vertical circuit is not pulling the top of the picture to the top of the screen (CRT) correctly. Its possible you have a loose wire or device ( after moving ) . If you have vertical agustments on the back , you may be able to adjust the picture taller; if the picture becomes stretched ( non - linear ) then you definately have tv tech only problems. At that point I'd really think twice about a repair and consider a new DTV or HDTV set. If the unit was damaged by a mover , then you may have a claim against them .

you have a defect in the vertical circuit. most likely the vertical chip ,caps,diode and supply voltage for the chip..john
