HITACHI I HAVE A QUESTION AGAIN.. I HAVE HITACHI  50LD7000.. IS THE LAMP LP700 WILL WORK? THANKS

If you bought a cheap non Hitachi lamp that could be bad and look fine.

I would remove the lamp and look at it and reinstall it making sure it is in properly----what was wrong with the old lamp? Did it still work at all?

1,Turn the projector on,press the Menu botton
2,Press the Left ,Right,Up or Down to find the "lamp usage" and the reset option.
3,select "Lamp replacement counter Reset ?"
4,select "Yes"

There are 2 or three things wrong with this T.V. Step one:
Make sure the Bulb is good by taking it out of your T.V. and inspecting it.

This lamp already has the housing with it, just swap it out.
Two, you could have a bad power supply- Repair is usually 240-280 bucks in shop.
3: You could have a bad fan. The fan on this T.V. that goes bad is a nightmare to get to and I highly recommend a service man to do it.

Did you replace the lamp door? A flashing red light is an indication of a door open or an impropely seated lamp. Try removing the lamp and reseating it. Reinstall the door and try turning it on again. Also, you may want to unplug the TV from the power source, count to about 20 and then plug it back up again. This may reset the TV.

After i replace the lamp on my Hitachi50v500a worked everything then i turn it off.After 1h wanted to turn it on again and it shows (TEMP) light is that a lamp fan or something else.Please help how to fix it by my self.Coz no money to call the tech.

I have volume but no picture

short your lamp door switch.. it may cause cooling issues but it will work. put on a table take the back off look in the area that the lamp door is there will be a switch.. trip it and tape it closed.. then turn it on if the lamp turns on you've got the right one..

The lamp assembly is different, but the bulb is the same.

Projection TV makers charge an arm and a leg for their replacement lamps. They make it easy to do but as a result the custom lamp assy is expensive. The trick is to just buy the bulb for your model TV from any number of us aftermarket sources at a fraction of the lamp price and install it in the old lamp yourself. really easy.
