Linksys WRT160N will not finish installing. On the 4th step it says your ethernet cable does not appear to be connected properly. Error 321. I don't really think its the ethernet cables because i tried 2 new ethernet cables and got the same result. Any ideas?

Error 321 or 322shows that the cable is not connected to the router and the computer.
That is actually a bug in the CD. Even if the cable is connected it shows that it is not connected.
You can set up the router manually, without the CD.

I receive the 322 error when I´m trying to install my new WRT160N v3 Router, by Cisco.

I think you are trying to install the router using the CD. This CD has a bug. Even if your computer is connected to the router , it will say the computer is not connected to the router and it will give you error 322 or 321.
You can install the router without CD also.
Make sure that your computer is able to go online through the modem only.
connect the computer and the modem to the router and open the set up page of the router.
On the set up page you can change the settings of the router according to ISP.

If you connect the computer directly to the modem, does it work?
If that works then the modem is working.
Now connect the computer to the router and the modem to the router.
You will need to open the set up page of the router to check the settings of the router.
You can set up the router without the CD also.
It is very easy.

This is a well documented problem with linksys routers. Go to google and type in "error 321 linksys". You will have to manually configure the router as stated on the linksys forum posts.

Problem connecting my linksys WRT160N to pc.

Reset the router to factory defaults and reconfigure it. In case it doesn't work then try upgrading the firmware on the router. This should fix it.

Start up

First, see if your firewall is not blocking the connection.
If it is, add the connection as a "safe" or "authorized". It depends on the software.
Also, check if your IP address is set properly.
