To resolve this issue, remove the network bridge. To do so, follow these steps: 1. Click Start, and then click My Network Places. 2. In the left pane, click View Network Connections. 3. Look for any connection that is bridged. 4. Right-click the bridged connection, and then click Remove From Bridge. 5. Repeat step 4 for each connection that is connected with a bridge. 6. SOURCE: Weak or NO signal to MN-500 Wireless Base Station
Have you tried upgrading the firmware - http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/page-7797_17_0.html
SOURCE: new pc.. old router. not detecting internet
i'm using the MN-100 router right now and it works perfect with Vista! with DSL PHONE LINE
log into your base station(MN-100) defualt password is: admin
1. Make sure 'DHCP server' is set to 'Enabled'.
2. 'Network Mode' setting must be set to 'Routing mode'.
3. Works with Firewall enabled.
GO TO the page (Wide Area Network (WAN) Settings
enable: PPPoe-uses point to point protocal over ethernet
then below that enter user name & password same as you did the first time you used your DSL i include (MY)service name too(SBC Global) when done go back to home page click connect may take a min or two your done! after initial setup is done its fast and you dont have to put user name or pass in again either!
SOURCE: Can connect to router, but not to internet
Is the main computer connected to the router or to the internet directly? If it is a cable modem for the internet, make sure you turn that off, as well as the router, and connect the cable modem to WAN on the router and put the modem on first, then the router. Connect the computers, xbox, etc to the router
Typically, this happens on a computer which is a few years old, since its batteries will have run out after such a long time.
The motherboard battery is used to store various settings, such as date and time, when the mains power is off. When your computer detects an empty battery, it goes into a low-power mode.
The solution is to replace the button-cell battery on the motherboard of your computer:
