I need a face for the cd reciever kdcx492

You can order spare parts such as the front panel for your stereo on this web page: http://www.kenwood-electronics.co.uk/support/spare_parts/

Please note that you will need to have the model number, serial number and either the purchase receipt, your driving license or your V5 vehicle documentation.

If this helps please rate it!

Kenwood cd player - Since i used an ipod, it comes up error 5, and wont let me play a CD in the car, or any other Ipod. Any ideas on how to reboot the player, or get it working.

Hi,
According to experts, error 5 on the player means that the player is reading the cd upside down or it cannot read the disc. you may need to run a cd cleaner ten check if it can read the cd again or if not you may need to take the player apart to clean it manually.
Cheers!!

I have a toyota 2004 and the cd player wont read cd's anymore. how can i fix it? It doesn't say error; it simply won't read any type of cd.

If ur cd player wont read cd's you may try following steps:

* Clean your cd player's lenses with a cotton carefully.
* Your cd player might not be getting sufficient power.

When in USB mode it keeps saying "Reading"

I am not sure if this is something you have already tried but with the power on press the reset button that is just to the left of the USB plug and almost at the top of the above the IPod jack. It is real hard to see, I used a flashlight and found it when Mine did the same thing

Got a dvd/cd player 7inch screen in car, wont read disc,s tried a cd head cleaner was working fine night b4 just keeps saying ,,,no disc

More than likely it could be a internal problem with the radio. Also make sure the radio is secure properly. A lot of the newer radios r very sensitive n will notice the dumbest lil things anymore.
