61 Inch = Fuzzy when connected to PC

I have connected my "New" Samsung HL-T61765 projection tv to my PC with appropriate cable. Works wonderful on XBOX. Bu the PC is so fuzzy that I can barely see read the screen from the same distance as the XBox. I have updated the drivers on the NVidia 6 series video card to no avail. On my TV at home, I was able to download drivers to change it from being a "Plug n Play" monitor to the tv monitor source. On www.samsung.com, there are no such drivers for the TV.

Are there any suggestions?

Thanks

Jared

Play with the resolution settings on the PC. That is the only thing you can do.

Connect pc to dlp tv

You would have to determine from the TV owner manual if it can be connected--some can and some cannot----the model listed here is old enough that if it does connect it may not look very good.

I have a cracked screen and im wondering how to go about fixing it

Replacing the screen on a 61 Inch TV is a serious and expensive process, My suggestion is look for a cheaper TV, possibly a plasma or LCD with HD. They are pretty cheap now and save tons of space compared to the rear projection TVs.

Samsung HL 61A750A1F

The Samsung Television has 3 HDMI inputs, You would connect an HDMI cable from the Cable box to your television and go into a menu on the television to select the appropriate HDMI input.

New cable boxes should have the HDMI connection.

Most Flat screen televisions I've seen have an input button on the television itself. Pushing it should allow you to switch between inputs.

Component problem

Does it work if you switch the source using the buttons on the TV itself, as opposed to on the remote? I have the same problem with my 30-inch Samsung HDTV, and it's infuriating. (It's why I found this; I was wondering if there was a hack to allow it to work.)
