Question about SanDisk Sansa E280 MP3 Player
My computer is no t recognizing my sansa e260 MP3 player
My sansa says its connected and its charging and everything, but it is not being read by the computer; it makes it seem as if no hardware has been plugged into the computer as u do not see it appear in 'My Computer' neither do you see the little icon that normally appears in the taskbar.
What operating system do you have? lets assume you have windows xp...first you will have to unintall your device from device manager...click on start, run...type devmgmt.msc...then look under portable devices, disk drives or universal serial bus controller...your device should be listed on either one of them..if you dont see it..click on the plus sign so you can expand it...then once you find your device uninstall it and reconnect it into a different port..make sure it is a 2.0...then windows should recognize it properly..if you are still having the same problem let me know..
