Samsung Smart TV makes noise lasting 3-5 seconds then produces Network Cable messages. Started 2 days ago and is happening more frequently.

You could check to see if Samsung has a Firmware upgrade for this issue at their Consumer web site. Doubt it will fix your problem though. Are you using a wired LAN connection? If so then check it and make sure it is not loose, or that your router has not been powered off. If all checks good, or you are not using a wired LAN connection you will need to replace the main board. I can not give you a part number because you did not include your model number in your complaint. I hope this helps.

Flickering screen

Two models of the 46 inch Sony Bravia have a screen flicker problem. On my 2008 model, starting from cold, it lasts for 5-10 min, on LHS of screen. The Telefix tech who visited said this is common with these models (46in only), a new panel is needed. Sony provides warranty on this fault for 3 yrs, so you do not need extended warranty to claim. Discuss your case with Sony or Telefix.

'96 VW Golf GL with 2.0 motor. Cold start knock

It sounds like the hydraulic lifters are bleeding down after sitting for a while... there are ball checks which are supposed to prevent this... Try using a good engine flush (a product that frees sticky lifters) and replace the oil with a good synthetic... Hope this helps...;-)

VS - 45065 Rear projection TV

hi .

All the models listed on the manual are all the same chassis as yours. when there are more then one model listed it means that there are a few different variations of this unit, normally it refers to the screen size. if your set for example is a 51 inch unit then look for the model closest on the manual.
yes the wii and other gaming units are fine to use with a rear projection television. the only thing to watch for is not to pause games and walk away as this will cause screen burn.

Cracked display

Good Day, crackedmits;
Like you mentioned the part "diamond screen" 760D613020 is no longer available.
I would try some local service companies that have been around for awhile especially if they are mit's authorized.
Good Luck, big IRISH.

Image flickers and colors off

I have the same problem as philvo. I was watching, the projector was operating normally, I heard a snap, there was a flash of light behind me I believe, and my Mitsubishi XD300U projector went to a black and white picture. That is all it will show now. All lights show normal operation. I would like to know if it is worth getting repaired. Does anyone have any ideas?

Black horizontal bars and jumpy picture.

Yes . Some of these caps are in the secondary of the power supply and some are on the signal board around 5v and 7v supply lines on the signal board . The 5 & 7 are mounted on heat sinks and the caps are right around there .Generally either 2.2uf or 4.7uf or the 47uf . Good luck
