Help!! The computer keeps telling me that it does not recognize the device. I have uninstalled and then re-installed the software and still no luck. The toll free phone number that is provided is a joke...it just keeps hanging up on me! How can I get this gadget to actually be accepted by my computer and download pictures of my grandkids? ANY help would be appreciated! Thanks- Paula

I would rather advice you that you should updates the motherboard chips of your system. You can download that in the manufacturer's website. How ever, its pretty cool if i know the model of your motherboard or service tag of your system for me to search and for you to download.

You can do this first;
On the other hand; there some problems arising from the gadget you installed and the usb ports connection.

you can try this. transfer the connection from other port of your system. do this into some other port.

If the problem persist; maybe your gadget cannot be recognize by the computer, Did you try connecting your stuff to other computer? If work to other computer; obvious

and recommending you to install a potent antivirus to eliminate any virus on it.

If same problems occur; please do the first paragraph, if not solve then notify me for further information.

I am running xp pro I installed the edimax card but I do not have the disc anylonger so I went to the website and downloaded the drivers for xp and it keeps telling me that the device does not exist.I have...

Uninstall the driver and software for the card.
Physically uninstall the card.
Restart.
Install the software.
Shut down and install the card.
Restart.

With many wireless cards - you have to install the software BEFORE installing the hardware.

I RECENTLY PURCHASED A NEW COMPUTER ( WINDOWS 7 ) AND IT WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO SYNC MY SG-2 SKY CADDY. MY NAME IS BRUCE ALLACHER - [email protected] user name platteview 1 password riverwild

If your SkyGolf came with software, you should install it first. If you installed it and it does not work, go to the software and check for updates.
If that fails to work, UNINSTALL the program, and re-install it.
Make sure you DO NOT connect the device to the computer until the software is fully installed.
Check for updates after installation, and the reboot.
Then attach your device to the computer, and it should recognize it.

Good luck

No install cd for wusb54gs

There is a history of difficulty installing this wireless software. I have found the easiest way to install it, is: 1. First, remove the device and the install disk, go to the control panel and select install/uninstall software and uninstall it, if is on the list. 2. Restart the computer with the device plugged in. 3. Once booted the computer will tell that a new device has been installed. 4. Let the install wizard attempt to install the device. 5. When asked for, insert the manufacturer's disk and install only the drivers. 6. Remove the disk. This should have you up and running, Good luck.

Windows XP SP3 will not recognize the printer is connected.

It could be the cable, but most likly it is a damaged driver. try uninstalling the printer and all the drivers then reboot and resinstall it. You could also run "sfc /scannow" to see if any system files are damaged.

Windows doesn's recognize camera, device manager says no driver

Hi -

Have you tried another USB port? Sometimes, they can act goofy.
Also be sure your anti-virus isn't blocking any part of the installation.

Here is a link to the Samsung troubleshooting guide for your camera.
You can probably download the most recent driver from that website as well.
Perhaps they have a better or newer version than what came prepackaged
with the camera (just because a camera is a new purchase does not mean
the software it came with is the most updated).

I run WinXP home edition, so I am not familiar if there are any differences in the professional version regarding software installation....

Good luck!

Please help me

When you say 'It keeps saying that the camera is marked for deletion.', where are you getting this message from? Check device manager to see if you can remove the device successfully.
Do you have admin priveleges to install on your work system? If not, the device drivers may not be properly installed. If you have XP at work, uninstall the Kodak software, then try connecting the device. You can see the camera as a mounted volume through the system drivers.
You can install just the EasyShare software, not requiring the camera drivers, if you choose to, and the camera will still mount successfully.
Good luck!

Trouble Installing MP3 player.

Are you using a USB1 or a USB2 connection for the device. I found that on my older computer which still utilizes USB1 I had the same problem but on my newer PC utilizing USB2 it was recognized correctly and I had access to all the folders. Both PCs run XP.
