Unfortunately, it doesn´t have one.
after trying out other power outlet and still won´t power on, check your warranty status with the manufacturer (usually starts from the date of purchase)

Ever since I did the adobe update, when I print a PDF File on my HPc6180, some prints correctly and the rest prints with random letters and symbols like wingdings. It is just completely random. How do I...

Something is causing the printer to reset and start again. The unintelligible stuff is caused by the printer having lost its setup. The most likely problem is that the printer is losing power. Check the power cord at the printer, at the brick (if it comes apart there) and at the outlet. If you are using a power strip check it. If all seems ok, try plugging the printer into another outlet without a power strip and/or in another room. If that doesn't fix it, more expert help is required by a service person.

Printer won't work at all. ON button is lit, but won't go off when pressed, and a test page won't print from the printer itself!

Try unplugging the power cord and the PC cord for 2 minutes then plug the AC back in before connecting the PC. If that doesn't work, unplug the AC cord again and hold the power switch on the printer in while plugging the AC cord back in.If it doesn't work, try performing a semi-reset:

Remove both the cartridges and then perform the reset.

Perform a semi-full reset on your PSC 2200 by holding the button
combination given below, while plugging in the power cord.

CAUTION: A semi-full reset will reset or clear the following
information:

* Return the user settings to the factory defaults.
* Delete language and country settings on some models.
* Fax logs.
* Fax headers.
* Fax speed dial information.

Press and hold "#" and "6" buttons while on the front panel keypad,
plugging in the power cord.

Now insert the cartridges back. Try printing a test page from the printer itself now. If it's OK, it means that the printer is OK. If not, there could be a hardware problem with the printer.
Good luck!

I had a paper jam this morning, cleared the paper jam, and now the printer will not power up. I tried to remove the usb cable, and the power cable, reboot the computer, and replug in the usb and power...

Hi,

First, Make sure that the printer is properly plugged in to a working electrical outlet and that it is hooked up to the computer as indicated. There should be two separate cables running out of your Dell 924, a power cord and a USB cable that communicates with the computer. If both of these aren't plugged in, then the machine will not function properly.

If the lights on your printer aren't working then it means one of two different things:

  • Printer has an internal electrical problem and needs repair or
  • Printer isn't receiving power from the outlet or power cord
Check whether, are you getting power from the socket by connecting some other component..If it works check whether the Power cord is propwerly connected, try pressing the power cord once..

If not the circuit may be damaged, Which cant be repaired inhome, you have to return to DELL service center and make it repaired

Please leave me comment, if you need further assistance

Clear any paper or carriage path obstructions
With the product turned on, open the print cartridge access door. The print carriage might try to move into the access area. If so, allow it to move to that position.
Without turning off the product, unplug the power cord from the back of the product. Unplug the power cord from the power source. The power cord must be unplugged to allow the parts to be moved by hand and to reset the paper feed mechanism, without the risk of an electrical shock.
Looking in through either the print cartridge access door or the output paper tray, make sure the print cartridges are locked into the carriage and have not come loose. Also, make sure that there are no obstructions under or around the carriage to block it from moving.
Make sure the print carriage can move freely across the width of the product by gently pushing the carriage to the left and then to the right. Clear any obstructions found. You may have to reach through the output paper tray to access the print carriage.
Close the print cartridge access door and plug the power cord back to the back of the product. Plug the power cord into the power source.
Press the On button to turn on the product.
Plug the product directly into a wall outlet Follow these steps to make sure that the product is correctly connected to a suitable power source.
Remove the power cord from any power strips or surge suppressors, and plug it directly into a grounded wall outlet.
Perform a partial reset A partial reset will return user settings to factory defaults. On some models, language and country/region settings are also reset. Perform a partial reset of the product by following the instructions below.
Unplug the power cord from the unit.
Reconnect the power cord into the unit.
When the lights begin to flash, press and hold the On/Resume buttons.
Try the print job again to see if this step resolved the issue.
If the issue is resolved , you do not need to continue with the rest of the instructions on this page.
If the issue is not resolved , continue to the next step.
Remove and re-install the print cartridges Improper placement or installation of the product's print cartridges can cause the product to indicate a carriage stall error condition. Ensure correct installation of the print cartridges by following the instructions below.
With the printer plugged in and turned on, open the cartridge access door (see the illustration). After a moment, the print carriage should come to the center. The print cartridge carriage is the plastic part that holds the print cartridges. When the carriage is at the center of the access area, unplug the printer.
Remove the cartridges from the carriage and check them for damage. Check for obstructions under and around the carriage. Replace any damaged cartridges.
Reinstall the print cartridges.
Try the print job again to see if this step resolved the issue.
Service the printer If you have completed all the steps listed above and are still experiencing a problem, service the product.
