most of these printers have a print center to load with drivers, check and see if you loaded center if you dont have disk go to dell site and download drivers free.
This is your driver causing the problem. If the download was for several printers you can try to reinstall the driver manually for your specific printer. If the driver was supposed to be for your specific printer then dell has put out a bad driver which they do sometimes. You can try alerting them through their forums, their customer support, or call them and once they know they have a problem, they're usually pretty quick to fix it.I would try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver first though sometimes they don't install right if the computer is under a heavy load.
To anyone with a Dell V105 printer and wanting to get it to work on Mac OS X 10.9.1. Dell's V105 printer is a Lexmark X2600 series printer. I suspect it's specifically a Lexmark X2650 Scanner/Printer. Download from Apple's support website the Lexmark printer drivers. Install and select "Lexmark 2600 Series" from the Scanners Printers in system preferences. I have not found a way to scan yet. But this got me printing.
I had the same problem. Click Start, Windows Photo Gallery, from that screen, you can select import from scanner. The 1200 series printer should be a choice to select. You are then able to preview the image or document, then press scan. I found this out through the HP support website.
