My lg vx8300 cell phone (the old one)

My lg vx 8300 cell phone (the old one) has a very bad problem. my screen shows nothing but white and i can't look up numbers, go to my camera or any of that stuff. i really want to get my pictures off my phone of my children but i don't know how to get there. what do i do?

I'm having the same exact problems and but I can still receive calls and if I dial the number correctly I can call but I can't see what I'm dialing. Same white screen too.

I have the same exact problem. My screen is completely white. I can receive and send calls and pretty much text messages if i can count off correctly. What is the problem?

My inside screne has also gone white and I can not get my phone numbers or see who I am dialing. I have already tried to reset my phone and I turned it off and on.

I click the power button to turn it on then the verizon screen comes on then after that my phones on but my phones main screen is white but the fronts just normal cant see nothing so I cnt do anything on my phone or get any numbers off or see what im doing plz help!!!!!!!!!!!

LG VX 8300 memory card reading problems

Did you put it in your phone and format it prior to uploading anything to it??? that must be done otherwise your phone will not recognize the card or anything on it.

I have a Vx8300 i dropped it and the screen tirned white.

On the 8300, the LCD is connected woth a flex cable to the main board. It might have loosened at the connection oint or you might have damaged your LCD. Either way the phoe needs to be opened up and checked physically.

Can't always hear other person when using ear bud wint VX-8300

Make sure the ear bud isn't going bad, they are generally thin wired and poorly manufactured. Try a different set that is compatible.

If that doesn't fix it, take the battery out of the phone, get some rubbing alcohol and an old toothbrush and clean the headphone port.

And if that doesn't fix it, just get a bluetooth headset. Your pone is compatible and they can be found online for usually around $20. $40 for a descent set.

My screen goes blank from time to time and when I turn it off and turn it back on again, it seems to re-boot itself and is fine. However, I have never had this problem with any other phone and fear my phone may be dying. It is only 1 year old and worked fine for the first 8 months I had it. But the blank screen seems to happen more frequently lately. I don't think I will buy and LG again.

I do not know how to fix it yourself, but the problem is probable a bad flex cable.

Phone got wet

try taking out the battery and blow-drying where jack goes. Keep air on high fan and heat on cool. Also blow dry where battery goes.

Speaker does not work well....

Trying turning down the volume a notch ...If the soundfiles are "home made" files then it's possible you made them too loud for the speakers on the phone to handle.
