THE RELAY CLICKS 2X THEN THE BLUE LED GOES OUT WITH A CLICK OF THE RELAY AND THE RED LED FLASHED AGAIN 1X ALSO WITH A RELAY CLICK. NOTHING ELSE HAPPENS. I TRIED A POWER SUPPLY BOARD AND STILL THE SAME PROBLEM. HELP, CARL - [email protected]

I have had my power supply board replace about a year ago.

Now I also have the relay click.

I tried a heater behind the tv and after a while (and many pushes of the power button) I got the screen to light up a few seconds before the relay clicked back off.

I got the tv to stay on only twice, but now it just clicks right back off.

    Phillips service is no help.

I paid $500 to fix it once. It is almost cheaper to buy a new tv. (not Pillips)

Ok. I got my tv back on.
I pulled off the back cover and found the relay that was clicking.
I have two blue relays next to each other that click when the power is pushed.
I placed a hair dryer over the relays for about a minute.
Once heated up, it only took 4 tries to get the TV to stay on.

Philip's tv 47PFL7432D/37 cycling

Power supply, check for back caps, remove backing and check for bad bugling caps, if you know how to solder then its might be a fun project to do, if not time for a repairman call or take it to a shop!

TV not turning on.

Mine was doing that and I ordered a replacement power supply board for it and now it work. It's fairly easy to replace.
