Ok. I got my tv back on.
I pulled off the back cover and found the relay that was clicking.
I have two blue relays next to each other that click when the power is pushed.
I placed a hair dryer over the relays for about a minute.
Once heated up, it only took 4 tries to get the TV to stay on.
HI, HAD THE SAME PROBLEM THE OTHER DAY AND PULLED THE PLUG FROM THE POWERPOINT FOR A FEW MINUTES AND THEN PLUGGED IT BACK IN....EVERYTHINGS FINE.. MUST HAVE NEEDED SOME SORT OF REBOOT OR LIKE REMOVING A BATTERY FROM YOUR PC, RESETS EVERYTHING..TRY IT, SHOULD BE OK AFTER THAT,,,GOOD LUCK

thanks for trying but i am a bench technician and that was the first thing i did. this problem will be board related. i just need to know what board inside is causing this problem. any authorized philips service techs out there?
Hello have the same problem when i turn on the blue led comes on with a relay click then blue goes off red comes on and off with another relay click any suggestions.
I have had my power supply board replace about a year ago.
Now I also have the relay click.
I tried a heater behind the tv and after a while (and many pushes of the power button) I got the screen to light up a few seconds before the relay clicked back off.
I got the tv to stay on only twice, but now it just clicks right back off.
Phillips service is no help.
I paid $500 to fix it once. It is almost cheaper to buy a new tv. (not Pillips)
