When a Sony TV has just the STANDBY LED lit and nothing is flashing (An error code) then the TV is in PC standby meaning usually that there is no signal coming in on the PC input (Computer). Turn on the computer that's attached to fix this. If this is incorrect then you will need to use your remote and select the correct tv signal input for your particular setup.
