Bad GAP HOME is a problem with the sensor (switch) that senses the automatically set printhead gap. Usually the wires break from flexing that run to the switch. Could be a bad switch also, or others.
You need to test the switch and wires with a meter.

sounds like either drum blade has fail or drum is bad. try printing the counter report and see if it is doing this. Then photo conductor unit needs to be rebuilt or replace. open right side door and look at drum make sure you don't touch it and see if toner is on it. If so drum blade has fail. call a tech or buy new photo conductor unit. this are good for approx 60,000 copies but sometimes will go longer age also play with drum blade life. were you might have 20,000 copies but unit is 5 years old
The gaps run in the direction of the label feed? You have a bad printhead. Bad dots on the printhead prevent it from printing your format in the areas that you see the blank lines. There is no easy fix other than replacing the printhead. You can prevent (or actually prolong the time between failures) in the future by periodically cleaning your printhead. It's recommended that you clean the printhead after every roll of labels. The printhead is underneath the hinged assembly. Over time, ribbon or adhesive from the labels builds up and causes dots to go bad - creating the blank lines you see. Clean your new printhead with rubbing alcohol.
Hi. You need to do tray linking. When one linked tray is empty, paper feeds from the next linked tray. The size and type settings for all trays must be set from the Paper Menu. To set the paper type or size: 1. On the home screen, touch Menu button 2. Touch Paper Menu 3. Touch Paper Size/Type. Note: To link the multipurpose feeder, Configure MP must be set to Cassette in order for MP Feeder Size or MP Feeder Type to appear as a menu item. 4. Touch the right or left arrows to select the same size paper from all paper sources to be linked. 5. Touch the right or left arrows to select the same type paper from all paper sources to be linked. Note: When the Size and Type settings are the same for any trays, the trays are automatically linked. 6. Touch Submit. Submitting changes appears. 7. Touch Home to return to the home screen. Hope this helps.
MP LOAD, PC LOAD, or LC LOAD paper size,or envelope size The printer received a request for a paper or envelope size not available in the printer. MP LOAD: Load MP Tray with the requested media. If the size is not selected in the printer control panel, use the [MP[Paper[Size] key to enter the requested size, or press [Shift] + [Continue] to draw the requested size from another source, if available.
