Try to turn it off and on. In the summer no was texting me until my phone died. Then I turned it back on and receive messages. If not that try to update your roaming capabilities or contact your provider.

Contact your service provider and ask them to send settings to your phone. Its quick and free.

for sending text messages :
1.go to your message settings and check the message center number to see if it is correct
2. call to your network operator customer care
3. request the message center number...
4.note it down
5. go to message settings>message center number
6. insert the number which is noted by you and save it


this solves your messaging problem ...

First check all the message setting i.e 1.Center number should start with prefix +........Character support it should be "Full" and the "Message sent as" should be "Text".If all these settings are correct the only way to solve is to contact / call the particular customer care.Good luck.

i are already hearing about some problems on the device, with users complaining that there is an SMS bug preventing them from sending messages effectively.hoping that would be a bug fixing on the next firmware update.

Usually this means the text Inbox/Outbox is full, once you delete them it should go away. You can have 500 text messages total on your reserved memory. Once you reach 500 you get the flashing mail icon and it saves texts to the smartchip (which holds 30 extra texts) and you won't be able to send a normal sms message, it will make you send a mms slide.
