My Fisher and Paykel flashed a F2 error code. What does it mean and what can be done to clear it.

    Just to clarify the error code, it is an F2 Error code with a wrench. What can be done to clear it

F2 error means motor problem. This could be due to several reasons. The most common is grime going in from the drain filter and getting stuck around the motor rotor cavity.

Follow instructions in your user guide to clean the filter plate. At this point you can take the rotor out and clean the cavity. The rotor can be pulled out carefully without pressing too hard on the impellers.

If this does not help then try cleaning the connecting link between the drain filter and motor cavity. You will need a thin stiff wire for this.

Finally if nothing works, the rotor might be broken and needs replacing.

My dishwasher is displaying an F2 error code, how do I clear it?
This means the rotor at the base of the drawer is causing some fault. Check the cavity after taking the rotor out and see if there is anything obstructing. Usually a seed or bone fragment. if problem persists you will have to replace the rotor.

F2 code on my fisher paykel
Assuming you have a drawer unit, the F2 eror means there is some erro in the pump motor circuit. It is likely the motor speed sensor may be faulty or dirty. Please provide full model number so that I can check which part I am mentioning. May I ask why you needed to replace the pump assembly in the first place.

F2 means that your rotor isn't moving properly and will need to be replace or it needs to be removed and check for something blocking it. Below is a link to a video that will show you how to take your dishwasher apart and repair your Fisher and Paykel unit.

I have a f1 come up and a f2 on my dishwasher what is it
f1 = Flood Code

This means that the dishwasher most likely has a leak

There is a float switch in the bottom of the machine and when water gets down there it trips the code

F2 = Roter not moving

you can remove the basket and spray arm and pull the roter out and make sure its clean and give it a try.

About one minute after pressing start, all stops and F2 flashes. Need a solution before tearing into it.
Please provide model no. of your fisher and paykel dishwasher.
The F2 error usually means the rotor at the base of the dishwasher is either faulty or is unable to move due to food particles getting caught.
