SP 2 Update will NOT complete installation. I get errors all over the place (17022, 17023...) I have run the SP uninstall but SP 2 will still not complete the update installation.

1. Click on start menu.
2.Type cmd in search field.
3.Right click on cmd file and click on Run as Administrator.It is must to run commanod prompt with administrator privileges.
4. Type SLMGR -REARM (SLMGR is Windows software licencing management tool. REARM command will reset the licencing status of machine) and press enter as shown in screen shot.
5. Now a confirmation window will be opened, click on OK.
6. Restart your PC.
Now you will never receive error message.
Enjoy the windows 7 like original windows 7.

As you are not using original windows, you are not authorised to update windows. If you update windows, Microsoft will install one file which can detect your window is genuine or not. So follow the below steps to switch off windows automatic update.
1. open control panel.
2. Go to windows update.
3. Click on "Install updates automatically(Recommended)".
4. Select "never check for updates(Not recommended)"

• Run Windows 8 command prompt as administrator

Before using above methods, you were getting error "this copy of windows is not genuine", that means your windows has updated file which can detect your windows OS. So You must uninstall the update which was detecting your windows.
Follow the below steps to uninstall windows update.
1. Open control panel.
2. Go to windows update section.
3. Click on view installed updates.
4. After loading all installed updates, check for update "KB971033? and uninstall.
5. Restart your PC.
We must use above mentioned three methods to get error free windows.
Still if you are getting problems, then download, re install windows 7 and follow above steps. Then you will never get "this copy of windows in not genuine" error.

Just reinstall vista from the CD which came with your PC, when complete, Boot up and connect to the internet. Windows will want to update automatically, during this process, the later service packs (SP) will be downloaded and installed.

Update your OS to XP service Pack 3 from microsoft.
If your operating system do not have any service Pack(SP) ie minimum SP2 yet, your M/S office 2007 will not function.

Is this for a Realtek audio driver? Try this: Here is the solution:

• Open Device Manager (Start> Control Panel> System> Hardware)
• In the "View" menu , select "Devices by connection":

• Disable and uninstall by right clicking on "Bus Driver for Microsoft UAA High Definition Audio":
• You can now install the drivers normally and without error.

If you still have problems, uninstall and delete the audio driver file and get a new driver file, it could be corrupt, or even the wrong one. A great program for locating current driver files is Drivermax...I love that program. You can download 2 drivers a day for free with it.

When you installed SP3 it was also placed into Add/Remove programs, (In control panel). Boot the system and enter safe mode. Uninstall SP3.

1st u have to uninstall completely the audio drivers from ur system. use revo uninstaller(freeware) then install the driver, then u can update also

The only known solution to this problem is to either uninstall service pack 3 and 2, install the modem and install again SP 2 and 3, or format the computer, install Windows XP service pack 1, install the modem, then install SP 2 and SP3. A pain, I know. It's probably easier to just change modem. I welcome any developer who is willing to build an unofficial installer for this modem to work with SP 3 and Vista. Why throw away a useable modem only because the company that made it wants you to do so?

Maybe you should try to contact singer south africa and ask them whats wrong, my laptop did the excact same thing switch over to home pc and no problem ever again.
