My Daewoo TV screen just went all Blank n Black suddenly while it was running all fine Then this was accompanied by a strange clicking sound and now whenever i turn it on,it just shows nothing(blank screen) and makes that strange sound. Ii would appreciate an Experts help Thanks

get the on screen menu on the screen
scroll around till you see aspect ratio and click on that use the buttons to change ( you will see the changes on the screen)
click ok and exit when satisfied
Fir aspect ration to change there can be a few reasons
some tv stations produce movies in the wrong ratio and it shows up for the movie as black edges or tall figures or fat figures ( change channel to verify)
or there can be a fault occurring in the board of the set that will not hold preset aspect ratios

It's either the backlight lamp or backlight inverter is busted due to a power failure or fluctuation. Here's how to determine which is which:

1. Grab a flashlight.
   
2. Turn on the TV.
3. Shine the flashlight onto the screen.
4. If you cannot see any display even a faint one, the backlight inverter is dead, else the backlight lamps are busted.
5. Replace which ever is the culprit.

if you was trying to wipe your tv off with glass cleaner are something that can make your tv go to a black pic

most times then not it's the capacitors on your power board that blew there for not supplying the tv with enough power if you open it up and check the capacitors it should be leaking some kind of liquid or the tops have bubbled up. its an easy fix cost>>2 dollars each

sounds like your powersupply just went out on you tv this will need to be replaced
