Hello. I can help you. Your gas furnace only needed a small amount of electrical power to operate. The electric heater on the other hand will need a lot more power and most likely will need 220 volts as opposed to 110 volts for the gas furnace. Therefore, a new line to feed your electric heater, sized appropriately will have to be run from the electrical panel to the electric heater. I recommend that you have a pro do this wiring job for you as there is no room for error. Good luck with it.

Electric heater problems.

Plug in a ceramic 120 volt or oil type space heater to keep trailer warm. Most travel trailers are propane only, they do not have electric heat strips. I would bet that is why it only blows cold air.

On my 2010 trailmaster 269bhs the hotwater doesnt work can i switch is to straight gas instead of electric

You can switch it out but pretty labor intensive. You cannot just add a gas option to the unit. You will have to replace it with a gas heater and then plumb it to the tanks. The existing unit probably has something simple like a safety sensor that went bad or a heating coil.

Electrical problems with a 2001 Thor wanderer travel trailer. Several lights went out at the same time. the porch light, bathroom light and fan & 3 interior lights. I would like to get a wiring diagram...

There are no wiring diagrams for most travel trailers. Check all of your 12 volt fuses. If none are blown, pull each light fixture one at a time and look for loose/bad connections. You'll need to remove each fixture from the ceiling to get to the wiring behind it to check. Normally the lights will be run parallel meaning if you have a bad connection at one, the rest down the line will not work.

Where is the breaker box on 1998 travleze trailer

All travel trailers and motorhomes have different set ups, but the majority of them install the breaker box in the generator compartment, even if it doesn't have a generator installed.
