I need a dishnetwok remote code for my HTR-5740 YAMAHA reciever

We do have codes for a Yamaha, but our remotes are not guaranteed to work all types of equipment. I have provided some of the more common codes below, along with a link to get more!

Consider the speakers as major contributors to the 'sound'.

if you can open the remote try cleaning the board this will help make the contact

the other way to test remote is a camra on phone
turn on camra and press the buttons and if you see a flashing light then that button ok try the rest

try 30176 and dont forget to assign the remote to turn up the receiver not the tv

You can use a hi-level to low-level adapter. Just remember, the Yamaha does not send power (wattage) to the sub, just signal. You need to use a subwoofer that has an amplifier either externally or built in.

try to drop the 3 when programming that remote

Go to the company web site for the remote, there should be code there.

follow the comcast instructions, then enter 30176 when you are to enter the 5 digit code.

Yamaha Receiver/Amplifier 5003, 5014, 5015, 5021, 5102, 5103, 5104, 5105, 5106, 5118, 5135you can use those codes
