Bad color The test prints show no yellow and limited red so I assume I have a print head or two clogged.  The color prints really badly.  How do I manually access the print heads to clear them?

I know how to do this and it isn't working. I wondered how to actually get inside the machine and clear the heads.
    Thanks,
    Janet

Won't let me clean print heads. Tells me to put in new cartridge. Changed cartridge and did a "clean heads twice and tried the third time and was told to change cartridge again.

I went through two cartridges and never got the number of prints expected.

Now it says the ink saturation pad is full and will not clean again.

Any way to clean the ink jets? Lighter fluid ? compressed air? alcohol?

The printed copy shows the red color as pinkish or magenta.

Assuming that you have the printer set up correctly and are using the latest drivers for the printer and the printer software, this is probably caused by clogged ink nozzles in the black, yellow and cyan inks. It may also be down to compatible rather then geinuine inks being used. Try the print head clean function and see if that helps

The printer won't print out any of the reds in my images, even when the colour cartridge has just been replaced, and prints any red areas in yellow instead.

Hi is this a new printer? If you've just installed a new color ink, it would prompt you to align the cartridge or print some test page.. If the RED doesnt show on the test page, then try to perform maintenance on it.. Like Clean cartridge or clean print head.. it may be clogged.. if it still does this, try changing the color ink.. If you color ink is from a stock, it may have dried up.. if you bought it just days ago, ask for a replacement.. If all has been done, it maybe the printer itself..

Hope this helps.. :D

The cartridsge printe red and blue fine. No yellow

The print head for the yellow color may be clogged. Check the manual to see how to turn on your print head's cleaning system. Run it until the yellow starts to print properly. If after running the cycle 4 or 5 times you still can't get any yellow to print you will probably have to take the printer to your local repair depot to have them diagnose the problem.

My Canon Pixma i90v has been working great for a year and now all of a sudden the color cartridge isn't working. I've done a print head cleaning and a deep clean. The test print shows that the black works...

If the printer is not worn out, one of the first things to try is to remove the printer in the computer settings. Reboot the computer and reinstall the printer software. This ensures that you have not gotten bad or corrupted drivers.

Xerox Phaser 8500 color issue

In all honesty, I suspect the print head has some bad jets on it.
Xerox will not warrany it since there is the presence of non xerox ink in the print head.
When you have tried as much as you have with the maintenance cycles. I would suspect a bad printhead.
When the jets become blocked to the point where you cant get all the colors sprayed onto the drum, you get mismatched colors.

No yellow ink

It sounds like you have a clogged nozzle. First I must assume you are using refilled compatible cartridges. You should change the cartridges for genuine Epson ones before proceeding.

Run 4 or 5 head cleaning procedures through the printer driver. DO NOT DO THIS WITH COMPATIBLE INK IN as this can make the problem worse.

If the clog does not clear or show significant improvement after 3 or 4 cleans, contact this person for information on intensive head cleaning for your machine.

All colors print blue

You did the right thing. Sometimes a bad printhead or a bad cartridge will cause a leak and will damage both. Good job!
