Do you have an Internet provider? Cable / DSL / Dial-up? If not, the you can contact your phone or cable company and they will tell you what plans they have available and the tech will set your laptop up for you.

The BIOS password has been set. You have to find the chip that holds the password and short it out. Not the easiest of tasks and you have to make sure you short the right chip. Dell knows that it happens and they are not quick to help.

A blinking light normally indicates a dead battery; however, since it does not power up when power is plugged in, I would suspect that the power jack on the motherboard needs to be repaired. The CPX doesn't have Wireless capabilities, unless you get a USB Wireless adapter. For now, use the Yellow Network lead to connect it to your router or modem, and then purchase a USB Wi-Fi adapter if you want to move it around more.

I have a CPX H500GT. To get it to run XP Pro to run right, max out the ram. And get a larger harddrive. Xp uses a substantial amount of space.

You might be able to get some more memory for it and a bigger hard drive. Depends on what the model number is.

bad motherbord litte power tansformers on it getting to hot failed have to replace them or new bord
