0110 error is related to the rrod error here is how you could solve this problem:
e74 or rrod error means that there is an hardware issue.
What you need to do is a very simple and cheap repair.
look on ebay for x clamp repair kits, these are just a few bucks and most sellers include a good guide in how to do the mod/fix.
what causes the rrod or e74 error is the X shape clamp on the underside or the mother board bending and mis-shaping causing the ball soldering on the gpu/cpu slightly melting and forming hairline cracks in the solder.
The x-clamp kit will apply more pressure to the gpu/cpu and a little trick of disconnecting the fans and turning on the xbox and allowing it to overheat will re melt the solder ball joints to fill the hairline cracks.
Depending on which chip is the issue you may also need a 2000 watt heat gun instead of using the over heating method (the gpu chip).
Replacing the heat pads on the heat sink with thermal paste which comes with the kit will keep the gpu/cpu cooler and you wont have this issue again.
Please make sure you buy the kit which comes with heat treated nylon washers as the steel spring washes fail!.
The repair takes around 1-2 hours
I hope this helps in fixing you xbox.

Start up. Button is turning green and then red and place where you put the disc it will not open

Is this is an Xbox 360 (you never specified the console, but red and green are typically Xbox light colors), then the red lights mean that something is wrong with your console and it is unable to function. The best option at this time is to take it somewhere to be repaired, or to replace the console.

If you would like to try to troubleshoot and repair it yourself, this site has instructions or reading error codes on screen and how to get the xbox to display secondary error codes if there is none displayed on screen. Red light on xbox 360 limited edition star wars version . blue light indicates ON but light turns to red won't play

Your console has the RDOD (Red Dot of Death) which is the same as the RRoD. Most console repair shops should be able to resolve this for you. In all likelihood, it needs the XCGPU (the main processor) to be reballed and reinstalled. You can however get the Secondary Error Code for the console itself (http://www.llamma.com/xbox360/repair/Xbox-360-error-codes.htm) which will give you a much better understanding of the problem in question.

Turn the console on, displays the xbox screen then screen goes off and a red light starts flashing on console, says system error

is this a single red light? if so, it is a E code error. if there are 2, it is a overheating problem. if its 3, it is a general system error which could be a number of things which you need to figure out the secondary error code to narrow down the problem.
to find the secondary error code:
1. after the red lights start flashing, hold down the "controller sync" button.
2. push the "eject" button 4 times and count the amount of red lights that flash. the red lights will begin to flash rapidly. secondary error codes are only 4 numbers. 1 light = 1, 2 lights = 2, 3 lights = 3 and 4 lights = 4.
after you get the code go to this website, and on the right hand side of the screen under "Xbox Repair Guide" select your PRIMARY error code (1,2,3 or 4 slow flashing red lights). then it will ask you to enter your SECONDARY error code, which is the one you discovered in the steps above.
this will give you a very narrowed down idea of what is wrong with your console, and will give us "questions answerers" a better idea on how to help ya out!

I keep getting erros when im trying to redeem my 3 month card what do i do?

You receive this error when a secondary account in a Gold Family Pack subscription tries to add a credit card or buy Microsoft Points. Secondary accounts cannot add credit cards to or make purchases with cards over Xbox LIVE. The primary account can add a credit card and transfer points to the secondary account. For more information, read Questions about billing and Microsoft Points for the Xbox LIVE Gold Family Pack.

Secondary error code 0020 fix

Some consoles just aren't fixable. It's not common, but does happen. This is why I recommend only having a repair done by an experienced professional.

One flashing red light.

usually with 1 red light errors, there will also be an error that shows on the screen like e73, e74, e75, etc. You will need to first get your secondary error code.

then enter either the e-code from the screen or the secondary error code into the repair guide

Xbox DNS server

Go to start->run on your computer, and type "cmd"

When the command prompt comes up, type "ipconfig /all", this will list all of the information about your IP address. Find the DNS Servers option, and copy that onto your xbox.
