hi; its sounds like a loose solder or high voltage leak inside your LTV if you know how to open the back cover or technical experience to troubleshoot you can check the power supply board and inverter board if it has a loose solder you can visualize it in the back of the board. also check the wires connected to inverter boards if it has a leak. or shorts.
my tv says no signal, and everything is just blank. my tv is a samsung 27, and it doesn't say anything. we tried everything like rebooth, and all that stuff. but it doesn't work plzzzz help!!!
hi possably is the fan in the back make shour it is working all the time that there is no dust bild up on it stops it from spining it may need a cleen ,or it is a transister heeting up and cooling down the transister is on its way out it will be a hard fix for a tech to fined thay will fined it but it will cost you a heep ,its best to whate till its gon completly .cheers peter
The atsc or qam tuner in your Westinghouse LTV-32W3 HDTV is malfunctioning and needs to be replaced. Unfortunately you will need to purchase a new mainboard since it is integrated. Another option is to return to using an external tuner like your cable box.
The "lvds" cable which is connected to the lcd controller board is taped to the backlight housing and is transmitting interference to the controller board. Remove the tape and pull the cable away from the backlight housing slightly. You will have to remove the mainboard to do this since it is underneath it. Do not touch the power supply or power supply connectors (dangerous high voltage).
