Fan works when component heat is higher so its normal.

I would unplug the oven for 2 minutes to do a hard reset and try it again, just in cause there was a glitch.

Without knowing your full model number from the tag on the oven, I would wonder if it has a separate internal cooling fan from the hood vent exhaust fan. It could be an unrelated issue.

I had the same problem with the fan not wanting to shut off after the repair. Once I set the clock though I was able to push the button to shut the fan off. So try setting your clock first and see if that helps.

I just found out the same problem with mine.
I think the bearing of the fan motor has problems.
I took it apart and now looking for a used or new fan motor unit.

Yes - there is a plate to change the direction of the fan.

Only working on low would probably be either a bad blower motor or a bad main circuit board. I dont remember ever having to replace a blower, but the main board has relays that switch back and forth for what ever speed you are trying to use. Problem is the main board will be quite expensive. May want to look at prices on new units. And remember on a new unit you get full factory warranties on everything.

Most microwave oven fan systems can be rotated for either back or top venting.. This can be done by removing a few screws and rotating the blower housing to the position you need and screwing it back in place.. Hope this helps..

I don't have the manual but there should be a temperature setting for the fan to come on.
