Question about Nokia 3230

NOKIA 3230 with RS-MMC card 512 mb.

I have NOKIA 3230 with RS-MMC card 512 mb. Free memory 200 mb, but still my phone hangs.

Youe built in memory in the phone or ram is almost full, your memory card is just another storage bank, transfer all your files to memory card from phone memory so that your phone will have sufficient space for booting up your phone, you need to delete some data stored on your phone memory.

you can do this if you want.

remove sim card and memory card make sure that all data have been backup

then type this by opening up your phone without memory card and sim card

type:

*#7780# for normal reset
*#7370# for full reset

Hi first reduce the memory of mmc and phone.Actually only 512mb is supported in this 6300 model.If you are using mmc of more than 512 mb several problem might caused.So, to get rid from this delete all the unnecessary files whether the files are in the phone memory or mmc.Restart your phone without inserting mmc...and follow this.Download and install Oxygen Software :: Download .open Oxygen Software :: Download interface ,connect your phone via USB and browse C drive,select "Hidden folder" and delete all the "music db".....this is the only way,Otherwise contact mobile repairing shop.Good luck.Thanks for visiting fixya

My 3230 modal memory card not working and not open

Generally this phone is taking 2-3 minutes during start up.If your phone takes longer than this there might be some problem.So, my comment is to format by following this Nokia Formating tips.For your mmc first insert another or put your mmc to other phone.If your mmc is working in other phone you should need to contact mobile repairing shop for hardware repair.Thanks for visiting fixya

My nokia 3110c is hang up...

First of all you need to check the memory card (mmc).It should be 512mb according to the recommented by NOKIA.If you use more than 512 mb the problem comes from mmc.The usage of eccessive memory cause to the malfunction of the phone.Therefore try to change the mmc.If not solve contact nearest mobile repairing shop or Click here1 and for your file 3110c file.Good luck.

Dude, your nokia phone operates its internal applications using the phone's memory and not the memory of the 1 GB RS-MMC. Your phone memory is full of datas. Empty your phone memory datas and transfer them to the memory card, and keep your phone memory free EVERYTIME!

Does Nokia 3230 support 512Mb memory cards?

Yes it will support a 512K Reduced Size MMC card / RS-MMC
(note: RS-MMC card is not a common MicroSD card)

3230 nokia memory card not format

Please consider buying a External Card Reader ... It might cost somewhere around 150- 200 Rs in India.

Connect your MMC Card to the PC via the card reader and format it by right clicking the drive and choosing 'Format" in My Computer.

After the Format is complete,plug your MMC back to your 3230 and format it with the Nokia Tool available in the Memory Card option of the 3230.

NOTE:PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN ANTIVIRUS (Avast Antivirus-Preferrable) BEFORE YOU CONNECT THE MEMORY CARD TO THE PC.

Yes you can use 1 GB MMC in your Nokia 3230, though officially Nokia 3230 supports only upto 512 MB, it is still possible to use 1GB. So use it and have fun.

if you want to recieve data on your phone above the free memory space, first try to transfer your files that was saved on your phone memory to memory card. or on safer way if you want to download data use mmc reader for downloading.
