If you have lots of flashing error lights or electrical problems then it is likely to be electrical.

However, if like most... and your printer has just been left unused for some time? You probably have an ink clog?

Provided it worked OK before a period of non-use? Then you just need to use a PRINT HEAD CLEANING KIT to unclog the tiny jets.
Magic Inkjet Flush usually works a treat on those!

Magic is ideal for unclogging the tiny jets on any Canon, Epson HP andremoving those horrible white lines which usually appear in prints whendried ink clogs several jets...

So if yours appears to be a clog? all you should need to do is to usethe Magic Inkjet Flush kit to soak the print head and you should beprinting again like new.

You can read more here:
How to Clean, Fix, Repair, Unclog, Dry, Clogged Print Heads on CANON, EPSON, HP, Lexmark, Dell, Olivetti etc…

Good Luck!

My computer is not recognizing my printer. I've downloaded the drivers from the manufacturers site, but still doesn't work.

1) Make sure the wireless setting on your network are the same for both the computer and printer.
2) If wireless is correct, suggest you connect the printer with a USB cable and go through the setup process for the printer from new.
3) If you tried both above, test your printer with the self test (see printer directions for how)

Toner is not working

go to the menu that is likely located on the printer and scroll through the menu until you get to printer settings, then select the tab that say ink cartridge or something to that extent. and tell the printer that you have installed a new cartridge. Another thing to check to make sure its the correct cartridge size installed. and you have to correct drivers for the printer to operate with your computer.

After installing printer & drivers printer is still showing an error. Error light is flashing and "sel" button will not remove flashing error. Printer has paper installed correctly, ribbon is...

After installing the printer and the software you must reboot the computer to register the hardware changes. After booting up open your "printers" from the Control Panel or Start "settings - printers".
Make sure that the printer is listed. If it is listed, right click on it and select "properties". Now the printer control panel will come up. Select - "Print test page". If the software and cables are installed correctly the printer will be listed and it will print the test page.
In the same way, with a right click on the printer you can select to make it your "Default" printer.

New operating systems will see the new hardware and offer to install it for you. If you say yes and OK the computer will do an internet search and it should find the correct drivers for your operating system. If it does not find the correct drivers for your operating system you may have to the companies web page and select support - downloads and find your correct driver.

I have Dell V505w wireless printer. It has worked fineuntil I replace my router with a new one. Now I can't scan anything to my computer. The orange light on printer blinks, indicating the printer is...

Either set the new router to the old router's IP, SSID, channel, key, etc. Or set the print server to the new router's network, SSID, channel, key, etc.

Blank page

Hello, hope i can help. Glad you tried all these things. Sorry they did not help. Is the printer set as the defaukt printer in your settings. Sometimes this can be the isue. You should have an icon for your printer in my computer. Right click on it and go to properties. Is the printer set to work offline?? This can affect printing too. If this does not help, you need to check if it is installed correctly by going to control panel, selecting system, then hardware, then device manager for printer and scroll down list and make sure it says it is working correctly, with no exclamation marks or errors. If you find some, you need a new driver from lexmark website. If no errors, we need to look at further issues then. Good luck, post back if not resolved please. Cheers lilacgerry

Dell 3000cn Network Connection not working

First of, the ethernet must be 'on'. If dhcp available, set it to auto (or dhcp.. anyways..) and let it reboot, just in case :)
if not, try setting the IP-setting yourself. They should be somewhat similar to the settings on your local computer(s).

To add the printer to your computer, select 'Local' printer and specify 'tcp/ip' as which port its connected to. In the new window the ip to the printer should be entered. :) (at least for XP this is..)

Hope this gave you the correct solution..
